This weekend was a lot of fun!
On Saturday, we took advantage of the glorious weather and headed over to the National Colonial Farm in Accokeek. It was Children's Day, and all the kids needed to perform chores at different stops throughout the farm. In return for their hard work the received a puzzle piece. At the end, we got a thorough understanding of life in colonial times, and a brand new puzzle to boot!
Sunday was the Wings Over Washington Kite Club at Chapman State Park. Lovely scenery, and Jon got to assemble and decorate his very own kite (with a little help from Mom and Dad).
A great time was had by all !!
